A hotel of a special kind with a splendid view of Sassolungo.
Built 100 years ago, the hotel has recently been refurbished. All rooms have a bath or shower, satellite TV and W-Lan Internet access. The suites feature designer baths and flat screen TVs.
In our small sauna area our guests can relax and unwind.
There is an in-house disco and après ski bar. The hotel offers direct access to the Sellaronda in winter and is a perfect base for wonderful walks and hikes in summer.

Welcome to the Hotel Wolkenstein
Enjoy your holiday in one of the oldest buildings in the valley, in which Sigmund Freud already enjoyed his holiday. Tradition and history combined with contemporary comfort will appeal to the discriminating visitor!
Right in the middle of the village, the hotel is within few minutes’ walk to all lifts and hiking trails – and there you are, instantly, in the breathtaking mountain world of the Dolomites.
Walks and hikes in the unspoilt countryside of the mountains – the scents of brightly-coloured meadows and the sounds of murmuring woods will soon soothe away the stresses and strains of everyday life.
In winter you will find yourself amidst the sparkling world of snow. The direct connection to the Dolomiti Superski Circuit allows you to ski over 700 km of wonderful pistes. This advantage has also attracted the successful Austrian Ski Team for over 20 years now. Every year the world-famous athletes come and stay at our house for a week to give their best at the FIS Ski World Cup.
